About

Hi. I’m Josh.

I am a software developer, coder, problem solver, computer nerd and just about any other technology related descriptor that you could tack on to the end of this list. I am also a husband and a father, and enjoy spending time with my family. Add in some dirt bike riding, a little skateboarding, snowboarding, music, movies, video games, Star Wars, coffee and beer – you end up with a pretty accurate representation of who I am.

I am technology agnostic, but I find my comfort working with .NET and JavaScript in my development. I have a curious mind, so don’t be surprised if you come across a post about something I thought was really cool in “insert name of language or technology here“. As I continue to learn the ins and outs of various technologies, I want to share my challenges and experiences with others in hopes of making those technologies easier to learn and understand.

This site is a place for friends, for total strangers, an for myself to use as a place to organize my thoughts so that I can break down and remember something that I might otherwise forget. As an added bonus, I get to share those thoughts with others in the community so that we can grow and learn together. I would not be where I am today without the help and support of the development community, and if I can provide something valuable to others either looking to learn something new, or to traverse the same path that I took, then I will have helped contribute to the community who’s previous contributions have helped me realize my dream of becoming a software developer. I hope whoever comes across these pages finds the content helpful, insightful, useful, or at the very least – entertaining.

For those taking the time to read this, thank you. This is going to be a lot of fun.

Happy Coding!
